I choose this story because this story relates environment of Thailand, tourism destination and image of Thailand tourism, especially Samui island where is a well-known place in country and other country, and I have ever gone to Samui where is calm, noisy, gorgeous and nice condition, so I am interested in this news. Besides, Thailand tourism is an important factor which makes much money come to Thailand. This situation moderately affect this factor.

This news tells about the Energy Ministry Wannarat Charnnukul and government can not accept four oil exploration concessions off Samui island because concessions do not practice or improve conducting that may have some effect to law or cause environment damaged. The information come from people who live in Samui and against concessions. They think concessions concern about economic and environmental damage. The four firm who have concessions are Chevron (Thailand), Salamander Energy (Bualuang), Nucoastal (Thailand) and Pearl Oil (Amata).

In my thought, oil exploration will have to make some bad effects to economy and environment, especially environment, because exploration have to dig, drill or something likes these. So if you explore nearby tourism places, it's sure that affect to tourism places. Besides, water is very good for liquid spread, if oil or chemical things fall into water, sea or ocean, it will spread quickly and give many effects to water living and nearby places. For example, fish, algae and birds that live closely water.

Elephant hopital for Krabi

I choose this news because this news relates environment of Thailand, especially elephant that is the symbol of Thailand, they had been used in wars in the past. Nowadays, elephants are used in a wrong way. They are brought to each province for finding money. For exmple, many people bring elephant into cities and use them for money, feeding and go over them. It is problems that directly relates elephant. And this news relates elephant's hospital at Krabi, that is useful. It helps elephants very much.

This story tells about first establishing elephant hosoital in country's South. In South of Thailand, there are no moblie hospital in South Thailand. It is very bad when elephants have a sick or fever. We can not help or cure elephants and wild animals in forests, it's probably hard. More than 800 elephants work in rubber forests and tourism sites in South of Thailand but South Thailand, there are limited vet services in areas, and many violent situations. so National Elephant Institute that come under the umbrella of the Forest Industry Organisation choose Krabi, it does not have violent situations. Importantly when elephants are injured, they have to go more hundred km for going to mobile clinic.

In my thought, it is so good and useful very much. It is conversation of elephants which the symbol of Thailand. Eventhrough South Thailand has many damage situation, we should help and take care of everything that no relate with violent situation, especially animals which do not know anything about human. I think this project can help more elephants, it can help evey animals in forest.

Gold prices higher

I choose this story because gold is a important indicator that show moving of finance and economy around the world. In a past, gold prices were very low, it estimated 4,000 baht, but nowadays, gold prices are very high, it estimate 18,000 baht. It is changed from past to now. It is many as high as space between past and present. Sometimes many people use gold for indicating richness.

This news remind everyone about gold prices on this Saturday. Today the Gold Trader Association announce the buying price of gold ornaments is 17,979.76 baht per baht-weight, and the buying price of gold bar is 18,250 baht per baht-weight. Besides, the selling price of gold ornament is 18,750 baht per baht-weight and the selling price of gold bar is 18,350 baht per baht-weight. They are higher than ever, they are usually increased prices especially time at oil-crisis that makes gold price crisis too.

In my opinion, gold is a very stable metal. It is suitable for being indicator of finance. But present increasing, I think it is too fast because ten years ago it was only 4,000 baht. Nowadays it estimate 18,000 baht. Increasing affect to cost of everything that people consume. That is sure that meals and fare are added prices too. Furthermore, oil-crisis affect to cost of everything too. It is not only gold prices.

20% new export target too high

I choose this news because this news relates with economic Thailand. After violent situation in Thailand, Everything, people, politics and business, is bad especially economic system. Because violent situation makes abroad businessmen are unconfident to invest in Thailand. This policy affect to many export companies and import companies. My family's business is a import company, so it affect to me too.

The Ministry of Commerce's revision of its export growth target for this year to 20 percent. It estimate US189 billion, it is too high. Pornsilp Patcharintanakul, deputy secretary general of the Thai Chamber of Commerce say, many economic indicators show that economic world slowly grow up, and unployment rate is still as high as 11 percent. So 20 percent is too high nowadays. But he expect exports would grow 16 persent, it is good enough.

In my opinion, I think it is so fast for setting up high expectancy because the Thailand government can not manage problems or trouble inside country. Eventhough the government can manage every problems but spiritual population does not be managed too, especially abroad investors who are finance for Thailand economy.

Extradition of Thaksin

I choose this story because this story relates endurance of Thailand. Nowadays, Thai people are separated to two groups, red shirt group and yellow shirt group, by person, fugitive ex-premier Thaksin Shinnawatra. Moreover, this news may make separation of Thai people again, and it may bring violence to Thais again too. Besides, this situation may proof for ability of government that can control every situations that happen in Thailand.

This story tells about public prosecutor or people who are prosecutors plan to seek the fugitive Thaksin Shinnawatra and red shirt leaders who run overseas. Director-general Tharit Pengdit say that agency is working with police to catch red shirt leaders who are hiding in Thailand and abroad. They are known to be living outside Thailand include Thaksin who is living in Montenegro, and Arisman Pongruangrong was spotted at hotel in Cambodian province, so public prosecutors will seek those people urgently. Furthermore, Tharit Pengdit, he add indictment to red shirt leaders, who do not remand in police.

In my opinion, I think this news is very risk for stabality of Thai population, and indication this news should be careful. Nowadays, Thai population is very sensitive. Some groups are still calm but some group are violent, and already go out to create problem or trouble. Those affect our country in the bad aspect. However, in Thailand, many people still love and respect Thaksin and red shirt group so reporters should be careful for reveal this news.

I choose this news because internet is important thing in everylife. It is a way that makes you access to the global network, communicate to other people, other group, and it is source of learning by yourself. Nowadays, technology has quickly development. we should be up to date. we do not out of date because everything pass so fast, sometimes we may not get something that we have to know. and google chrome is a good way that make you up to date the world.

This news tells about improving of Google officially that develop Google's browser, Google Chrome, better than ever. News Google chrome consist of many new abilities, such as speed to get users that is increased, new designing feature that is simplicity and many application that specific each websites. In my opinion, I think it is very good because if google indicate your new program, google chrome, other companies will develop their program for competition themselve. Also Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari etc. So competition is a very good way for developing technology of Thailand. Moreover, people who get benefit is consumer and every people who use internet especially, children need technology for learning.

ICT Thailand will change

I choose this story because this news tells about development technology of Thailand. Nowadays, technology of Thailand is bad. It is out of date. Developed countries have 4G network but Thailand does not have 4G, and 3G does not cover all of Thailand area. but it is not significant point. The significant point is creating opportunity for Thai people in suburb to access information and knowledge. That is a good plan for developing Thailand because besides it develop technology of Thailand, it develop living of Thai people too. Children in suburb will get information, knowledge and teaching that is correct and sure.

This news tells, the government of Thailand considers a draft plan, ICT 2020. This plan is developed by the Information and Communications Technology Ministry and the National Electronic and Computer Technology Cenntre (Nectec), and this plan aims to establish the directions in which ICT will develop in Thailand from 2011 to 2020. There are seven methods in this plan that approach the goals that develop technology Thailand. Seven methods consist of providing and developing broadband infrastructure, developing ICT staff, enhancing and creating competitiveness of Thailand industry, developing ICT for governace, applying ICT to manufacture and agriculture, reducing cost for technology eauipment and developing ICT for green economy and society.

In my opinion, I think this framework is very good for developing Thailand because many people and many children in suburb do not get information, knowledge and news, if they get them but they are not up to date. Some area does not have school or education places, so this plan is good method for developing Thailand. We should use technology for education in Thailand. But this plan spends time for 10 years to develop technology, broadband and network in Thailand. That is too long time but it is good way. Because everything is developed, It has to have long time for developing, especially education and youth.

I choose this story because this story relate Thai stars who have some action that make other people are confused. Besides of this, this news relate about Thailand's situation about misunderstanding. This news tells about everything what public people say or everything that public people do, have an effect to other people. so this is a good example that indicate an effect from entertainment people.

This news tells about Aof Pongpat, Kowit and Mint have some problem in Inaugural Nataraja Awards. To begin with, Yellow shirt director Aof Pongpat speaks about nationalistic speech and political division. while Aof say Kowit and Mint walk out from Inaugural Nataraja Awards. Some people say Kowit and Mint support red shirt group so when Aof, who is yellow shirt group, say Kowit and Mint walk out immediately. In the weekend, Kowit and Mint open the affair, it is only a misunderstanding. because while they are sitting in the party, they get massage tell them about their grandmother and grandmother-in-law have sick, so they walk out a party. It is not relate politics.

In my opinion, if you are a public person, you should be careful every actings of you. Because every actings of you are looked and heard by every people in this country. If you do not carefully act, it will have some problem followed. In this case, I think it is emergency because people who are loved by Kowit and Mint have sick. They go to visit them immediately. It is good but sometimes you should tell someone or reporters before you gone for protect a misunderstand.

I choose this news because this news tells about young generation stars of Sony Music Thailand Group. They are interesting in teenagers. In this concert has 10 young music stars who show in this concert, and everyone who play in this concert is well-know musical stars now.

In this news, tell only where this concert show, who play this concert, what time this concert show and name of this concert. This connert create by Sony Music Thailand Cooperation. This concert is SIB TEM SIB-CONCERT MAXIMUM GENERATION. It gather all of Sony Music's musical idols to show on a stage. The idols are Tor, Stamp, Dan, Ben and other idols. This concert will be held at Impact Exhibition Hall 1 on September 11, at 7 am, and everyone can buy tickets by thaiticketmajor.

In my opinion, it is nice about people who show in this concert. all of idols are well-known in public, and every idols have a great ability and talent for showing. But date that is held, it is Tuesday. That means almost students can not go to this concert because they have to study at school, and people, who are not students, have to work at their company. I confuse that why Sony Music manage on Tuesday. It is not good.

Thai airways make emergency landing.

I choose this story because this news destroy the image of tourism in Thailand, and it makes reliability of Thai airways bad. This news is interesting because It relate to safety of passengers on a plane, and cause of problem, fire broke out of engine, still does not know.

This news tell about an emergency landing of Thai Airways Boeing 747. The airplane has some engine problem after 20 minute take off. When the airplane take off with 330 passengers, It fire broke out one of engine. This reason make emergency landing to this airplane. Fortunately, this event does not have injured people. After safely landing, people on the plane are evacuated from airplane to safe place. People who are responsible say this airplane pass pre-flight inspections

In my opinion, airplanes should be the safest vehicle. Why does Thai Airways let this situation occur? This situation destroy the image of tourism of Thailand, and it make credibility of Thailand tourism worse. Eventhough, all of passengers and crew is safe but reliability of people do not safe too.

BRT starts operation.

I choose this story because it relate Bangkok transportation. It is a new way for transport in Bangkok, and I am interested this news that make transport in Bangkok better or worse. Price of BRT is interesting because it have air condition in buses, but it is low price.

Sukhumbhun Baripatra, the Bangkok governor, is the head of function to start Bangkok the bus rapid transit (BRT). He say, first time BRT will run between Sathorn and Rachapruck, and BRT fee will be zero baht untill 31 August 2010. Since 1 September 2010 the BRT fee will be set up at 10 baht though of route, four months. 2 January 2011, the BRT fee will be full price that fee depend on distance, start from 12 baht to 24 baht.

In my opinion, this transit system is not good for Bangkok. It will make traffic worse. Now traffic in Bangkok is very bad, when this transport system come to roads in Bangkok. Traffic is worse. Someone think this transport system approach to help traffic in Bangkok but in my thought it does not help. Eventhough, fee of this system is low but it can use in a small area. That is not fair for people who live suburd.

Thai - Myanmar border closure affects border trade.

I choose this news because this news tell about relation between Thai - Myanmar and friendship bridge. Myanmar is a neighbor of Thailand but relation between Thai - Myanmar is not good now. I think building bridge connect Thai - Myanmar is a good way for improve a relation, and it make transport between Thai - Myanmar is easier. This reason make trading between Thai - Myanmar better.

Thai Deputy Commerce Minister Alongkorn Ponlaboot went to Myanmar for due. Bridge connect Mae Sot - Myawaddy. Thai want to make that area to be a special economic area, and if they can build this bridge, we get valus of border trade countrywide around 140 billion baht per year. Building bridge support this reason. The due will happen on 2010.07.28 and Thai hope this due is success.

In my opinion, I think this bridge make transpot between Thai and Myanmar is easier. This reason may affect to transportation and international trading better. Bacause we can go to Myanmar and go back to Thai easy. Besides of this, the relation between Thai and Myanmar is better too. So politics of Thailand will be relaxing, we have trouble inside Thailand, if relation between Thai and Myanmar better. Thailand politic can reduce trouble and spend time for something else.

Thai students get gold in mathematical olympiad!!

I choose this news because this news show about talent and ability of Thai students. Thai students can competitions in high rank, in this news tell about opinions of Thai students, who collect gold, silver in maths olympiad. I think that is useful.

6 Thai students get 1 gold and 5 silvers at the international mathematical olympiad in Kazakhstan. They give opinion about before competition and after competition. They say about why they can compete at international competition. They say they are interesting in math and practice it too much. They are diligent about studying, and don't give up difficulty of mathematics.

In my opinion, I think studying of Thailand is very bad. Students study too much. We have to remember all of formulas, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and a little Biology. But in the developed countries, I heard they don't remember but they analyse and understand formulas. In this case, Thai students are really good that collect gold and silver of maths olympiad.

Davis Cup

Really I like tennis very much but i seldon play tennis, because I don't have time and friends who play together.

Captain Paradon tell his aim in this tournament is returning to group 1 again, and preparing of athletes that can won the oceania pacific's team 5-0.

In my opinion, I think Thailand's tennis team should be a winner that captain Paradon say because Thailand's tennis team take long time to prepare. They have spirit for play tennis and have Thailand population always support them. Although rank of Indonesia' players are higher than rank of Thailand's players. I think it is not important because tennisball is a circle, eveything can happen. I cheer up Thailand's tennis team.

Thongchai Jaidee in Scottish open

I choose this story because Thongchai is a good golf player of Thailand. He has a good talent, nice ability and very good discipline in game of golf. This news tell about Thailand people who can play sport in international competitions expecially golf sport. Every competitions, He can pass a final round and keep his rank for playing in high competitions.

Thongchai was in joint 20th. Opening round in Scottish Open, Thongchai Jaidee can shoot excellent. His shooting was four-under 67. In a second round, Thongchai Jaidee got three birdies but got six bogeys. It was bad because his shooting was 74. He was in joint 20th place, it's above cutting line.

In my opinion, Thongchai Jaidee is a very very good athlete. He deserves to play in high competitions and get honor. He make Thailand well known, and He support sport school in Thailand that give chances for youth to play sport.
